What is Lovey Patisserie?
Lovey Patisserie is a Melbourne-based patisserie specialising in Asian-inspired desserts. We are best known for our light chiffon sponge cakes, Swiss rolls, Basque cheesecakes, and seasonal handcrafted desserts, all made fresh daily with premium ingredients.
We have three Melbourne locations: Doncaster 3108, Melbourne CBD 3000 and Caulfield South 3162. Doncaster and Melbourne CBD offer dine-in and takeaway. Caulfield South currently offers online pre-order pick-up only.

Is parking available at your Doncaster store?
Yes. Free 2-hour parking is available at Level B1, accessible via Frederick Street. Simply tap your credit card on entry and exit to receive free parking.

What types of cakes and desserts do you offer?

Which type of cream do you use: animal cream or plant-based cream?
We use dairy cream in our standard cake range. Our cakes contain gelatine and are not suitable for vegan or vegetarian diets.
Are your ingredients halal-friendly?
Yes. We use halal-friendly ingredients. However, Lovey Patisserie is not halal certified.
Do you use preservatives?
Some components, including certain glazes, contain preservatives. Please contact us for the ingredient information for your chosen product.
Are your cakes less sweet?
Yes. Our cakes are designed to be less sweet, focusing on balance and flavour.
Do you update your menu regularly?
Yes. Our menu is updated every month.
Cake Sizes & Servings
What size cakes do you offer and how many people do they serve?
- 4 inch: suitable for 2-4 people
- 6 inch: suitable for 4-6 people
- 8 inch: suitable for 6-8 people
Can I write a message on the cake?
Messages cannot be written directly on the cake. Chocolate writing is available on the cake board by selecting the option on the product page.
Ordering & Pre-orders
What is the minimum pre-order time?
Online cake orders require at least 48 hours' notice. Urgent requests are subject to availability. Wholesale orders require at least 72 hours' notice; please see the Wholesale Cakes section below.
Do you accept walk-in orders?
Yes. Walk-in purchases are welcome at our Doncaster and Melbourne CBD stores, subject to daily stock availability. Caulfield South currently offers online pre-order pick-up only, with no ready-made cakes or drinks available for walk-in purchase.
Delivery
Do you offer delivery?
Yes. Delivery is available within a 30 km radius of our Doncaster store. The information in this section applies to retail cake orders. For wholesale delivery, please see the Wholesale Cakes section below.

- 0-5 km: $13.95
- 5-11 km: $18.95

Wholesale Cakes
Do you supply wholesale cakes in Melbourne?
Yes. Lovey Patisserie supplies handcrafted, Asian-inspired cakes to cafés, restaurants and event venues across Melbourne. Contact us to discuss your business needs and delivery location.
What products are available for wholesale?
Our wholesale range includes Fresh Strawberry, Earl Grey and Tiramisu Shortcakes, plus Coconut Pandan and Earl Grey Matcha Basque Cheesecakes. We also offer Plain, Chocolate, Pandan and Matcha chiffon sponge sets, with three sponge layers per set.
How can I request your wholesale catalogue and pricing?
Email info@loveypatisseriecafe.com with your business name, location, products of interest and estimated order quantities. Our team will send you the catalogue and discuss suitable arrangements. All wholesale prices exclude GST.
What is the minimum wholesale order?
Whole cakes have a minimum order of two cakes per order or production batch. Chiffon sponge sets have a minimum order of six sets per flavour, with three sponge layers in each set.
For delivery, a minimum order value of $180 excluding GST also applies per delivery.
How far in advance should I place a wholesale order?
Please place wholesale orders at least 72 hours in advance. This allows our pastry team to schedule production and prepare your order. Shorter-notice requests are subject to availability.
Do you offer wholesale delivery?
Yes. Standard wholesale delivery days are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Availability and fees depend on your location and delivery route. Delivery times are confirmed before delivery. Please send us your address so we can confirm the available options.
Can I arrange a tasting before placing an order?
Yes. Tastings are available by appointment. Please contact us at least two days in advance to arrange a suitable time and discuss the products you would like to try.
Are your wholesale cakes halal-friendly, vegetarian or gluten-free?
Our wholesale products are made with halal-friendly ingredients, but are not halal certified. Our whole cakes contain gelatine and are not vegetarian.
Our Coconut Pandan and Earl Grey Matcha Basque Cheesecakes are gluten-free. Please request the product-specific ingredient and allergen information before ordering.

Function services are available at our Doncaster store only.
