Important: our kitchen is not nut-free
Some recipes have no added nuts, but our kitchen handles nuts and other allergens, so cross-contact can occur. We cannot guarantee the absence of nut traces or suitability for someone with a severe nut allergy. Carefully consider this risk and tell our team the exact allergen before ordering.
Our vegan Pineapple Carrot Shortcake contains walnut, almond and soy. Vegan or gluten-free does not mean nut-free.
Before you order
- Ingredients and cross-contact are different: the summaries below list confirmed ingredients and key allergens, not complete ingredient lists. An unlisted ingredient is not confirmed absent. Our kitchen handles milk, egg, gluten-containing ingredients, nuts, soy and sesame.
- Vegetarian, vegan and lactose: standard cakes contain gelatine and are not vegetarian or vegan. Vegan Pineapple Carrot has no dairy ingredients, egg or gelatine added and is an option for those avoiding lactose, but contains walnut, almond and soy. Lactose intolerance differs from milk allergy; our kitchen still handles dairy.
- Gluten-free: our current Basque range uses gluten-free recipes except Earl Grey Matcha, whose Biscoff decoration contains gluten. Vegan Carrot also uses a gluten-free recipe. Our kitchen is not gluten-free; contact us about coeliac disease or wheat allergy.
- Gelatine and halal: standard cakes use halal gelatine, which is animal-derived. We use halal-friendly ingredients, but Lovey is not halal certified.
- Decorations and sets: check every cake, filling, decoration and add-on. Cream or chocolate decorations can change vegan or gluten-free suitability. One suitable cake does not make an entire gift set suitable.
- Fixed recipes: we do not substitute ingredients, creams or flavours. Removing a topping cannot guarantee allergen absence, and order notes do not confirm suitability.

Mini Cuties Set – 4-Inch Shortcake Gift Set
This set contains fixed and optional cakes and is not vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free as a whole. The fixed Strawberry and Earl Grey Brown Sugar cakes contain milk, egg and halal gelatine. Optional cakes may also contain gluten, hazelnut, pistachio, walnut, almond, chestnut, soy or sesame. Check each cake and decoration; one vegan selection does not make the set vegan.

Cream Miffy Decoration (Non-vegan | $5 each | 4-inch max 1, 6-inch max 2, 8-inch max 3)
Contains milk and halal gelatine. Not vegan. Listed as gluten-free in our current allergy information. Adding it to a vegan cake makes the finished cake non-vegan; ask about the full ingredients for other allergens.
Customized Chocolate Writing (Please write words in cart note and can be done up to 5 words)
The white chocolate writing plaque is a gluten-free, non-vegan option. Confirm the actual writing chocolate and plaque selected, especially milk and soy ingredients; not all writing options have the same ingredients.
‘Happy Birthday’ Chocolate Plaque
This separate Happy Birthday Chocolate Plaque is a vegan and gluten-free option. This does not apply to Miffy cream decorations, white chocolate writing plaques or other chocolate decorations. Confirm full ingredients for other allergens before ordering.
